Day tickets

Day tickets are only valid for the selected day. For tickets in categories 1 and 2, a fee of 2.50 € per ticket purchased at the box office will be charged. This fee does not apply to online purchases.

Multi-day tickets

Multi-day tickets are valid on all four days of the event and are only available in advance, in limited quantities, and only until 31 May 2026. After that, any unsold tickets will be returned to the day ticket shop. On Thursday, there is no seat reservation in any category, as the Great Hall is only used from Friday to Sunday.

FAQ

In the “FAQ” section, we have compiled answers to frequently asked questions.

The ticket entitles you to enter the Historic Town Hall in Wuppertal. All three dance halls (on Thursday only the two open dance halls) and public areas can be accessed. Free seats may be used (however, in the Great Hall, rows 1 and 2 at the dance floor, rows 3 to 6 on the apron stage, and row G1 on the gallery on the upper floor are not available). There is no entitlement to a seat.

The ticket entitles you to enter the Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal. All three dance halls (on Thursday only the two open dance halls) and public areas can be accessed. In the Great Hall, you are entitled to the seat you booked in the respective category on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (on Thursday there is no seat entitlement, as the Great Hall is only used from Friday to Sunday). In the other two halls, free seats can be used. However, there is no seat entitlement there.

Categories 1 + 2
All seats in categories 1 + 2 are located in the Great Hall in the first row (category 1) or second row (category 2) directly next to the dance floor. Row 3 on the apron stage (raised seating position) is also assigned to Category 2.

Any restrictions to the view (truss stands) are marked on the seating plan. This is a sports competition, so the view may be restricted at times by the standing judges.

Category 3
Category 3 seats are located in the first row of the gallery (upper floor) above the dance floor or on the apron stage (rows 4-6). For an additional charge of only 5.00 € (compared to a day ticket without a seat reservation, adults), we guarantee a seat with a view of the dance floor for the entire day.

Spectators who have purchased a day ticket without a seat reservation are requested to leave the above-mentioned seats vacant at any time for spectators who have purchased a day ticket with a seat reservation for the respective seat.

Multi-day tickets are only available in advance, in limited numbers, and only until 31 May 2026. After that, any unsold tickets will be returned to the day ticket shop. On Thursday, there is no seat allocation in any category, as the Great Hall is only used from Friday to Sunday.

Multi-day tickets entitle the holder to entry on all four days of the event. The savings compared to purchasing individual tickets are 67.50 € in category 1, 42.50 € in category 2, 45.00 € in category 3, and 40.00 € or 20.00 € for tickets without a seat reservation. All three dance halls (on Thursday only the two open dance halls) and public areas can be accessed. In the Great Hall, you are entitled to the seat you booked in the respective category (on Thursday without a seat reservation). In the other two halls, free seats can be used. However, there is no seat reservation there.

Children of toddler / preschool age (0 – 5 years) have free admission (no seat reservation).

Students up to 28 years of age are asked to provide a proof of legitimacy (identity card + student ID) when enter to the Historic Town Hall in Wuppertal.

Persons with a severely disabled pass with entry B or H only have to pay admission for themselves. The accompanying person has free admission.

Pre Sales:
Ticket orders via the online ticket shop can be paid by bank transfer/prepayment and credit cards. Accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and Union Pay. For orders via the inquiry form or a telephone order, payment is made by bank transfer after receiving of the invoice. 

Box office:
Tickets at the box office can be paid in cash and by credit cards. Cards accepted: Visa, V PAY, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and Union Pay as well as contactless NFC payments via Google Pay and Apple Pay.

The box office will be open on all event days until the start of the last competition. The respective admission times for spectators can be found in the schedule: Schedule

Why is there no right of withdrawal or return?
Tickets for events are purchased for admission to a leisure event. Therefore, this does not constitute a distance contract in accordance with Section 312b (3) No. 6 of the German Civil Code (BGB). The statutory right of withdrawal or return for online ticket purchases, which is customary in distance selling, does not apply.

Can I sell my ticket?
The commercial resale of admission tickets without express written permission is prohibited.
